yes there was a rehydration clause. thats why loma turned down the fight because he wanted to come in at 140.

 

It makes absolutely no business sense why a promoter would ruin the image of his top shelf product like that, except for personal reasons. Arum is one vindictive, spiteful S.O.B. which is why he lost the industry's two biggest revenue generators, ODLH & Money Mayweather.

Loma would have to weigh in below 126 like every other featherweight. He'd then hydrate like the rest of them post weigh in. If Rigo doesn't like this then keep his damn mouth shut about fighting at moving up and stay at 122. Simple really.

This is not mma bud. Boxing has weight classes , if you cant make the weight, you move your bloated arse up.

 

And even as a harcdcore fan, unless he's fighting a top fighter who poses a threat, I am not interested in watching Rigondeaux.

If you want to get paid you need to offer the paying public something entertaining.

 

I agree the only threats to loma or rigo is rigo or loma. but the fight is hard to make.

And if this continues loma is going to get so big that no way he can make that weight. And rigo is anorexic so he is not going to gain a ounce. so one of the best fights is not going to get made.
