Frampton vs Warrington 22nd December Manchester Arena

Warrington-Frampton is huge. Great fight, can’t wait.

Agreed. It's a nice trade fight but huge is not the word.

 

Belfast doesn't have an indoor venue big enough, not sure about Leeds. Still though, Manchester favours Warrington's fans in my opinion. Flights, hotels and tickets will be a tall order for a lot of people travelling from Belfast 3 days before Christmas.

Anyway, good fight this and I'm glad it happens this year. Hopefully Frampton gets the nod and we can see the Santa Cruz rubber match next year.

 

I’m not talking huge in terms of numbers or casual interest. I’m talking from a pure boxing perspective. Domestic world title fight and an intriguing clash of styles. I don’t value fights based on PPV fights, viewing figures, attendances or purses. That’s for people like @OpinionOfACasual and @Puroresu_Fan. I care purely about the quality of fights.

 

As has already been mentioned.
Leeds arena does 10500 for boxing and Belfast is less than that.
Manc is around 20000.
Tbf I think this is a huge fight, well domestically certainly, both in terms of support and it's two legit world champion level operaters.
Fights like this don't come round that often (domesticaly)

 

It’s a great match, no denying that. But when you say HUGE you’re talking about one that captures the whole nation IMO. And this won’t. George Groves on London buses etc. That was huge. Anthony Joshua v Klitschko, huge.

I think Warrington’s work rate will give Frampton a lot of trouble, I can see Frampton being behind on the cards and him finally landing something big on Warrington.

Great fight, this will sell out the arena easily. Also shuts up the cry babies who we’re so devastated on Framptons behalf about him not having a major fight for Windsor Park.

Frank has got hold of both Carl & Josh and delivered everything he promised - he deserves credit.

Anyway, as this is being stuck on PPV frank better be already hard at work on the undercard though. If he doesn’t put something good together, he will rightly be savaged.

It's a cracking fight, a world title fight with two of Britain's best atm.

 

It's a big fight, great match up and the perfect location. I was thinking that would be the bes location for this fight even before I heard anyone mention it. Leeds is just 45 minutes away from Manchester, and Belfast to Manchester is just a 1 hour flight. It holds 20,000, it's a no brainer. The two loudest fans in the UK, it should be a cracking atmosphere!.
