I Think this thread is getting a bit dead now - we need to hear something solid from one of the camps to further the discussion IMO

    Good post.

Frampton is doing what makes the most sense.

What you mean is you can't defend Framtpon any longer for callin out Quigg now Hearns made an offer(apparently its his fault te network issues exist even though Carl is aware of them as well but continues to call out Quigg). Why nt blame Carl for calling him out instead of mocking Hearns offers? Why call him out if they don't intend to follow up with an offer themselves and stay quiet till the BN deal is done?

No it's just easier to blame Quigg and Hearn

Ducking the champions to fight flyweights?

Yeah, guess he is doing what makes most sense. Little risk, but will still get good pay days because the Irish have no one else worth supporting.

If at all possible Carl and his management should not let Quigg and LSC fight each other.
If they do it will hurt his future options and earnings - cos at the loser will (obviously) no longer be unbeaten.

Right now Carl can (potentially) be the first to beat both men - greatly boosting his status in world boxing and his future earning power.

Not really though if he was to get Kiko again and win it actually boosts his earnings if LSC and Quigg fight. If Quigg beats LSC then that fight becomes even bigger a unification fight with 2 fighters who have been talked about fighting each other, big money with a possible rematch. If LSC wins then Frampton can hopefully fight him in a unification for big money plus LSC said he wants Frampton after Quigg so could probably happen. If anything i'd say LSC should push for someone else, Quigg is a tough fight for him and won't be much money or credit in America, if LSC get's beat big blow to his future and if Frampton had the IBF belt he would surely push to make the Quigg unification. If anything i'd say Quigg has less to loose fighting LSC then LSC has fighting Quigg. Either way if Frampton gets the Kiko fight he is in the strongest position of the 3 based on the fact he has the easier of the world title fights and should he win both Quigg and LSC will want to fight him. Even if Quigg looses it's not a big blow Frampton could still make a defense against him while holding all the cards.

Kiko will end up fighting Quigg as Eddy has the hammer and Frampton doesn't have a title.Kiko can make more money from the Quigg fight than Frampton and it has an upside-two titles on the line.
McGuigan is dreaming if he thinks he can close the Kiko fight for Carl.

What possible incentive is there for Kiko to fight Carl?

If you were Kiko would you practically give away your title?
Anyway, Kiko is injured at the moment - hip muscle trouble, so he ain't going to be fighting anyone at all for months.

Hardly... Cazares who he made easy work of in 2 rounds was ranked 2nd with a governing body, there were negotiations with LSC and there also looking at the possibility of the Kiko rematch who holds a strap.

    With respect that's nonsense...

Eddie Hearn will in no way shape or form be paying Kiko or a LSC more money then McGuigan can. Where is the money going to come from?? Hearn works to a budget and Quigg isn't book office..Frampton is probably on double if not more then Scott is per fights as his shows draw serious money..if quigg headlined against a top guy in Manchester it will draw about 5k tops Frampton would sell out a stadium...If Carl was to get LSC in Ireland (I know its unlikely) Showtime will follow and cover the fight..for Quigg they wouldn't it's a simple as that really.

very good points, Hearns cant afford to pay LSC or Kiko more than Framptons team unless he wants to make a big loss

Hearns only advantages over Framptons team is that LSC and Kiko probebly see Quigg as an easier fight and therfore less risk and theres also a paper title to pick up
