Team Frampton are wise to consider another fight before the IBF title fight. His title shot might not come until late spring, early summer, who knows....
A Quigg fight would keep him sharp..provided he wins of course! Which he should do.

Interesting that the LSC angle is the long term objective according to the article.

He would get more for fighting in Manchester, as would Frampton

Frampton wins this in round 9.

I do like Quigg and think he is world class. But Frampton is that step above. He'll be the #1 or #2 guy in the division for years. Quigg, he'll be a solid top ten fighter in a strong division but won't reach the elite.

I think this is the wrong fight for Quigg at the moment. Coming off a draw against Salinas, I think he needs an easier fight first. I'd try and organise a shot against Martinez. That's a winnable fight and for a world title. Plus, with Quigg holding that and the paper belt he's got at the moment. Ball's in his court for the negotiations and such.

Rigondeaux would crush Frampton. It would be a complete mis-match.

Frampton being woefully overrated by the Micks.

Im sorry, you mean like how every Brit that had a successful amateur carrer or pro's who have run up an unbeaten record against shams, is a "future world champ"?? Even before some of Brit fighters turn pro they're being tipped (by you Brits) to be a world champion.

If he is being over-rated, it's not just by us. He's gaining a reputation world wide now.

It is normal for the champion to apply atleast a rematch clause when making a voluntary. It's unrealistic for Framptons team to ask the champ to go to Belfast without at least that option.

This is a huge fight and I'd like to see it, would be better if for a legit title though, frampton should offer Kiko big money and go that route.

    But a title nonetheless.

He brings a lot more to the table than Frampton.

I see loads of comments from you all the time and you seem to only support Matchroom fighters - which is very weird.
