Frampton's next opponent

    So who will Frampton fight at Windsor Park in August? I can't see it being any of the top names. Warren pretty much said it won't be Warrington. Russell, LSC, Mares, Valdez are all unavailable for August. What are his other options? Seen Mark Magsayo being suggested. But I don't see Warren taking any risks with a highly rated, albeit unproven prospect with no name value in the UK. He'd probably be seen as too much risk, for no reward. What about Kid Galahad? Cosidering the limited options, would he be a realistic possibility? Any other suggestions?

    I wonder is Frampton regretting going with warren now? Warren will want to milk his two cash cows separately to maximise his profit. Josh in Leeds and Carl in Belfast. Who will fight Carl in Belfast in August? That's the question.

    I would have thought Valdez may look like the most realistic one now really.

    LSC and Mares are fighting 9th June, I'd have thought that rules them out for the date.

    I don't think Valdez will fight in August after a broken jaw in that war with Quigg in March. I might be wrong though.

    Could be right about that, I just see it as being more realistic than the other champions since Russell Jr just doesn't fight regularly enough to come again in August, Santa Cruz has a fight like 2.5 months before the date and Warren basically said Warrington v Frampton aint happening

    Think I heard OV is aiming at a November return. Which rules out Carl in Belfast in August.

    So where does that leave us?

    That's it. When you rule out all the good names who are unavailable for August, it doesn't really leave many options for a 'big' fight. Luckily for Frank Warren, Frampton could fight more or less anybody and it will still sell well in Belfast.

    frank is a scumbag up until warrington won it was that the winner fight frampton but because selby Was The clear winner but now warrington upset selby frank says that his is trash his just as bad as hearn lol and frampton wasn't happy you could tell lol

    Agree. If the both fight, 2 cash cows are better than one. They might meet down the line if Warren can match em right for a while and get the ££ in.

    Think he basically said Kid Galahad had went with Eddie so was last option for Warrington.

    Probably no where near but some like Vargas stepping up?

    I don't see fighters complaining about Eddie though. Whereas frank has form for having clashes with his boxers....
    Anyway who do you see Frampton fighting in August?

    I dunno ....has Carl got a contract with warren guaranteeing him a fight in August? If the opponent is a complete nobody that the Belfast public boycott....then frank may be forced to use Warrington. Is warren counting on the Belfast fans paying out to see Carl versus A. N. Other? No matter who it is? If so could it backfire on him? And on Carl? Carl can't be happy with no opponent named surely.
