frank doesn't mind his lower level guys fighting lol he got caught on the spot he kept saying the winner fights frampton then goes and says that I would be surprised if frampton was just keeping his cool until he was off air then went mad lol because of this he has no big name to fight now lol I mean who ?

    Who indeed?
Maybe jo jo Diaz? A Quigg rematch? Kid galahad? I don't know you're guess is as good as any...that's why I'm asking the question....

Isn't kg no. 2 with the IBF. And no. 1 is vacant? The IBF tend to enforce mandatories. Be gas if kg beat Warrington....and I wouldn't rule him out!

Warren very sly. All along it was the winner would fight Frampton ....the Josh wins and he u-turns???.

Don't think he's contracted to Matchroom. Think Brook asked Hearn to get him on his undercards a couple of times as a favour.

warrington is the weakest champ I picked him because I didn't rate selby as highly as alot of other and the fact he is killing himself to make weight so any of the top fighters can beat warrington so his gonna be matched with poor opponents lol and imo frampton is gonna get left with nothing after everything frank said I mean what's the point of winsor park if it's only a basic opponent he wants a big world title fight lol it could be galahad lol

Thanks. I think kg could beat Warrington, potentially. Let's not get carried away about Josh. Lee was very poor, probably the weight making finally caught up with him at last. Let's not forget in his previous fight Josh barely scraped past a very faded Kiko Martinez .....whereas Carl ko'd prime Kiko years earlier. Warrington is still quite unproven. Decent win against selby, yes indeed, but it is only one win at top level after all.

I’m happy to admit Im wrong if its genuinely proven to be the case, but I believe your slightly bending the Truth here. I never once heard frank guarantee the winner fights Frampton in August- it’s was always ‘’let’s see what happens’’ type answers he would give when the topic came up.

In reality, anybody using common sense knew that that it was never going to be feasible to happen 3 months later. The only slight chance
Would have been If Selby won easily without taking damage.

My understanding of things was that Warren was guaranteeing Frampton a world title fight at Windsor. The world title being as important as Windsor in my opinion.

If Warrington won't be ready for August, will Russell Jr? He fought on the same night and I don't think Warren could afford him at this short notice. Any champion with any sense would request the crown jewels to fight Frampton in 3 months time.

It certainly won't be Valdez (broken jaw) or Santa Cruz. He's fighting in June and won't come to Belfast anyway.

Warrington had a great performance, fought out of his skin. He's still the weakest champion though and the majority of the top 15 in the division probably beat him easy. He should cash in and take the Frampton money. Can't see it though.

Didn't he go with warren on the basis of a "big fight" ie a world title fight at Windsor this summer? That was Carl's key demand as I recall. True? And frank accepted that, true? Who else is warren gonna get only Warrington? All the other champs are tied up.

The "lets wait and see" talk from Frank is a new and very recent development. Up to about 2 months ago Frank had no problem delivering for Carl. Now he's rowing back on his earlier commitments.
He sees the chance to milk 2 cash cows in 2 cities with huge fan bases. But it might backfire badly on him. Carl can't be happy with this recent warren u-turn. Carl won't appreciate being taken for a mug.

To be fair to Frank one of the champions having to fight a middleweight and getting bashed up was quite bad fortune.
