Dempsey said after the fight Sat that Frampton had split from him.

No I think you jumped the gun there 305th. I think it might been a reference to Carl and Josh going separate paths for now....???? :)

Yeah I have watched it again and he was definitely talking about Warrington and frampton going down different paths.

Quigg would be playing with danger to his health with his no defence style he rocks these days. I like Quigg as a fighter but this using your face to defend punches needs to stop.

Little demand for Quigg v Frampton II. Quigg has outgrown 126 anyway.

I think Fish Eyes has scored a potential own goal here if he can't deliver an opponent. Lee Selby would have been the natural fight. Clearly Warren has both paid more than Hearn offered and made the promise of a Windsor Park fight and that's why Frampton signed. I think Warren is being a little short-sighted when he keeps trying to one-up Hearn. He made the same error with Degale by overpaying him at a less than half-filled Copperbox against Truax and now Degale is champion again he's trying to get his next fight on Sky.

Anyway what about Rigondeaux? Cyclone and Frampton clearly ducked him years back. He's probably the best available option from a fan's perspective. He considered joining the WBSS Bantamweight tournament before medics ruled him out at the weight so clearly he's not retired and I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to beat Frampton.

According to Boxrec Valdez has vacated. So Frampton will get a world title shot at Windsor Park?

Wonder if frank might use his influence with the WBO and get Carl an easy opponent to fight for the vacant 130lb title in order to get himself out of this mess
