THE MMA GURU ONE FC recently withdrew from Francis Ngannou negotiations and now Ariel Helwani and his team being delusional and coping.
I haven't watched the videos you've posted, but I saw another Mma partial analysis and opinion thread that may have been based on Ariel's comments and it revealed that Francis wanted his future opponents to receive compensation that he himself would determine, to step in the cage with him. What do you make of this whole messy situation that revolves around more than his personal financial interests? Is he being unreasonable and unrealistic with his demands?
There is a lot of hw bums in the ufc. Other than jon jones ufc has no one. (maybe sergei P.) The pfl can sign new prospects from all over, and they pay million dollar checks to their big stars. The girl with the judo medals who im to lazy to google right now, she's a multi millionaire. Francis will make bank, and he has full range to do what he wants without being suffocated by the ufc's restrictions.
There are lots of good hw fighters in Russia and European kickboxers transitioning mma that will rival Francis. the ufc having the best fighters is a myth, it's only the top 5 guys in each division, hw less so. The vas majority fighters in the ufc hw bracket would lose to Francis. He has like 2 fights there. There are good hw prospects who will opt for pfl over ufc if the money is right.
Takes more than being a decent kickboxer to be an elite combat sportsman, Izzy has grown beyond that tag and is now quite well rounded which is what you need to be in modern MMA fighting.
