Was close to happening a couple of years back. What goes down if this fight happens in 2024 ?

Well they both have a common opponent in Tyson Fury. Whyte couldn't touch Fury he was even less competitive than Del Boy in his three attempts. Ngannou knocked the Gypsy King down and won a significant amount of rounds. Ngannou wins if he insists on strict testing.

Nice, I like your thinking. I think Whyte took a bag in the Fury fight, and the Fury vs Ngannou fight was a show, entertainment - hence this would be a completely different ballgame. Fun matchup though, if it wasn’t all about money I’m sure we could see it

Whyte froze V Fury... He couldn't get near him and his feet were made of lead.
Fury couldn't out strength Ngannu and struggled with him. Fury is a much better boxer than Whyte and its not like Ngannu is a total fight novice. It would be an interesting fight for both to be honest.

Love or hate him Whyte is a solid fighter. He gets a lot of crap for who he has fought but he's been in with tougher fighters than most of the division and produced some exciting fights. Its just the division as a whole isn't that highly rated which isn't his fault.

If he comes back after his ban this could make him some money and if wins it gives him a way to work back towards the top of the division.
