I mean, I have to thank them for making the fight! But as mentioned when it was announced, I couldn't believe they had matched Joyce with Zhang. As others have said above, he probably doesn't need to be taking that rematch, it was all too easy for Zhang, far more so than I expected if I am honest. So, I don't know how much Joyce can retool in the time between now and an immediate rematch. I really expected Joyce to do his best to stay out of trouble for the first part of the fight, as he did with Dubois, not stand right in front of Zhang trying to trade.
Styles make fights and Zhang is just all wrong for Joyce. He shouldn't go anywhere near a rematch- if he did I think Joyce would end up getting knocked out. I still can't believe Joyce came in light for the fight and expected to just walk through Zhang's shots
Very good analysis's buddy, and on point, they did indeed say on many occasions how dangerous the matchup was to bolster the gate, and make Joyce,s " win " look even more spectacular, in my experience it is very rare that any promoter puts their charge in with a opponent that is very threatening, and with a good chance of a upset, it happens sure, but it's the exception not the rule, have not seen Frank giving too many interviews since the fight ! Queensbury made a mistake with this match up, we know it, and now they know it, over to you Frank.... stay safe guys.
A true fighting trade man born from his mother, but perhaps not his father but maybe Kalle instead, or is that the other son? I dunno, it's all very bewildering in that camp nowadays. Is it tomatoes or blueberries that help cognitive function? I get so confused nowadays.
