Missed most of the round, but Domenico may have nicked it with cleaner shots.

Valentino has beaten Josh Taylor in the amateurs. I was every much inclined to go with him in the league but I succumbed to herd mentality in the end. Let's see how it turns out.

Neither man landing a lot clean, both making each other miss, a lot. But Patera landed the cleaner shots.

Damn, turned pro at 33? Guess he wanted to milk every drop of success he could in the amateurs before leaping into the unknown. :sisi1

    Round 2 Patera 10-9, close
    Round 3 Patera 10-9

Huge headclash, both men cut on the forehead, doctor takes a look at Patera, he lets it continue. Patera now going all out. Launches a sustained attack. Winging in looping overhands. Valentino still landing some nice counters, but got outworked.

I don't know a hell of a lot about him other than seeing him get schooled by Loma in the WSB.

Pace has slowed a little. Valentino lands a counter right, making Patera overreach and miss. Patera getting his jab on track. Chopping right they hold, Patera works him up top in hold. Valentino ended up probably nicking another close one with the cleaner counters.

    Round 3 Patera 10-9
    Round 4 Valentino 10-9, close

Another near even round, Patera nicked it with a few counter rights and jabs, but Valentino closed strong. It could go either way.
