    Round 8

Rodríguez is orthodox again, but still horned up. Rodríguez going in for the finish. Rodríguez is waving a left hook at the waist and then bringing a heavy right hand up top. It grazes and Hirales stumbles. Rodríguez is marching him down and switches his stance again in mid-stride. Big right hook by Rodríguez, wobbles Hirales. Wild slashing left hand from above by Hirales and Rodríguez counters with a southpaw 1-2. Hirales ducks and grabs Rodríguez around the chest after taking a jab and high clapping left against the side of the head. Hirales clinching a lot, sticking the right jab to cover his escape. Rodríguez is

    Round 9

Rodríguez is staying right-handed. Hirales tries giving him a taste of his own medicine, trapping one arm to hit with the other, but Rodríguez shakes him off, displaying his raw physical strength advantage. Hirales is down, slip. Rodríguez is backed up as Hirales slings a few big haymakers, missing.

    10-9 Rodríguez

    88-80 Rodríguez

Tbh Perez is bang average at best, and appears to be on the fast slope down

    Round 10

Rodríguez is swaying to dodge the Hirales left uppercut and making a jacking-gear motion with his forearms to screen out whatever he can't avoid with upper body movement. Rodríguez is nailing Hirales with the right hand falling in and willingly getting tied up, conserving energy to put into single big shots. Hirales is running and flurrying. BIG left hand on the gob by Hirales, but Rodríguez takes it without blinking and keeps attacking.

    10-9 Rodríguez, very close

    98-90 Rodríguez

Yes, I knew it. Rodriguez Jr. is a pretty good fighter. He was on the bad side of a decision against Moi. Thankfully, he pulled it off. Plus, he's super young and has been matched super tough. How old is he now? 22, 21 years old?

He should try WBC 108 Yu Kimura :think

He is ranked 112 now, but he has a better chance to optimize his strength advantage at 108 & become a 2 division champion for whats its worth (105 + 108)

Yup, I think he'll drop back down. The Moi fight was for an eliminator to fight Donnie Nietes IIRC.

Right now, he has a lot of momentum on his side.

Yu Kimura is fighting Ganigan Lopez, but I'd definitely like to see the winner fight Rodriguez Jr., but I think they're going to be set to fight Guevara first.

Feel kinda bad for Hirales, 4 losses in a row, he's really not that bad. A sturdy kinda guy who does some good things.

Maybe it's time to hang them up.

Hirales's overall level of opposition has been insane, probably took too much out of him.

    Cas > Nietes > Roman > Taconing/Rodriguez/Menzoda

    It's nuts.
