dumbass fight. You know Salido wants a brawl. Vargas isn't using his jab or setting up his shots. He's just throwing shots with no leverage or real technique.

Vargas 7-5. Salido's headbutting made Vargas look like a monster.

Salido's so prolific at fouling, it's just part of his schtick now. The refs just let him get away with it, as reffing him appropriately robs the fans of the true "Salido Experience"

You could see though that Salido was coming forward with his head, and that when Vargas stood his ground, they kept butting. Salido didn't do it on purpose, but the butts did happen. You know it's a butt when the part between your eyes at the bottom of the forehead swells. A line of bumps going from eye brow to eyebrow shows that it was butts. Good fight though. A few low blows but great fight.

I hate salido. The referee should just deduct points from him for low blows regardless of how many times he fouls.

Salido can't win no matter what he does and in my opinion he was tearing Vargas a new one. Vargas had some great moments but Salido was a monster in that ring and Vargas was very happy that he got away with a draw.

Yup. I had it a draw, and felt a Salido 7-5 decision was slightly more plausible than a Vargas 7-5 decision - but all scorecards are very plausible lol.

He's the best he's ever been. He relies so much on his intelligence.

7-5 Vargas was legit. NO way could I see it 7-5 for Salido.

I don't care. To me there was certainly a case for a 7-5 Salido win, I think he stole one of the earlier rounds that he wasn't given credit for by Lederman on the basis of some very off compubox punch stats from that round. May-Pac and Salido-Lomachenko 1 remind us that compubox is not gospel.

No gospel certainly, but maybe it's better you judge fights with glasses?:think
