Great stuff. 130 is becoming the hottest division in boxing. We've just had Walters-Loma, and in the next couple of months, we have Corrales-Uchiyama Davis-Pedraza Miura-Roman Berchelt-Vargas
Would be a nice card that would hopefully get picked up by some network. If Vargas, Miura, and Berchelt(WBO mandatory) are tied up with each other that makes a Lomachenko-Salido rematch even more likely since a lot of Lomachenko's other options would be unavailable. A lot of nice matches happening at 130.
I wonder if Miura is capable of the type of effort he put forward against Vargas again. That's the kind of fight that ages you, especially against a fighter on a roll like Roman currently is, who himself looks be on good form.
Berchelt could be the next great star from Mexico, but he's finally facing an elite 130lber and first real test.
Vargas vs. Berchelt, there could be glass flying in every direction, neither guy seems to have the greatest chin I'm expecting yet another war from Bandido which could prove costly against a puncher as big as Berchelt. Berchelt by KO7. The Mexecutioner will brutalize Roman, his come forward style will prove quite hazardous to his health against Miura.
Probably HBO is going to pick this up I'm thinking, because showtime has the Frampton/LSC II, and Dejan/Garcia fights, so most likely, dueling telecasts on Rival networks on that night. ***EDIT*** HBO did pick up the fight! Great night of fights!
