Why is it that Duane Johnson in a fat suit looks like prime Jonah Hill but slimmed-down Jonah Hill looks nothing like the Rock?

 

Takashi Miura vs. Miguel Román, 12 rounds @ super featherweight

 

Round 1

Román is jabbing into Miura's guard and following him around. Miura doubles the southpaw jab and plants a few left crosses into Román's forearms to pin them in place so he can slap a right hook against the side. A few strategic clinches by Miura as Román stomps & jabs his way straight in. Lots of posing at medium-long range.

Round 2

Román is peering between his wrists and performing deep-knee lunges with the front leg while turned askew, hatcheting at Miura with his entire upper half and shoving through with a left jab. Miura is working the body from a safe distance and tying up with his gloves turned palm to ceiling and rising to clasp the armpits whenever Román gets close. Miura is able to control range until the final moments after the clap, where Román catches him in awkward mid-crouch and lands a couple of nice uppercuts, forcing Miura to straighten up and tighten his defense.

Round 3

Román chops at Miura up close with the right hand. Miura pushes off and spirals away clockwise, popping light jabs and then slamming down with the axed left arm, catching Román across the brow with it a few times as he pushes his luck. Román is now trying sacrifice-fly jabs tossed out lazily toward Miura's face (and opening himself to left hand counters) in order to get a hard corkscrew right hand downstairs, and is scoring it well and bothering Miura with it. Román gasping for his efforts, however, by the bell.

10-9 Miura, but much closer and he was hurt a couple of times both to head & body

30-27 Miura

 

Lederman gave Román the second and has it 29-28 Miura.
