Shabranskyy is scroing the jab at will, using in and out movement and quick lateral steps to confuse Pena and dictate range. Lots of feints by Shabranskyy. Pena is particularly affected by the fake right uppercut Shabranskyy keeps aiming down at the hip-line, but pulling to instead jab Pena in the face. Pena is keeping a tight guard, stepping in and thrusting a jab at Shabranskyy's face, getting countered, and reverting into a standoffish position, well balanced and guard in place but quieted down offensively. Just following Shabranskyy.

Round 3

Peña is still walking in haplessly, getting jabbed in the face and once in a while luckily wiping a jab away on the pinky side of his upraised right glove. HARD left jab by Shabranskyy, violently snapping Peña's head back. Shabranskyy is setting up with his jab into Peña's guard, then firing a full-power right hand, deflected off Peña's left glove but knocking it back into his face, scoring damage like a billiards-ball.

They just showed highlights of Yamaguchi Falcão vs. "Sugar" Raymond Terry from the non-televised undercard.

Falcão scored a dominant KO1 in two minute flat. :ko

Both entered with identical unbeaten records of 3-0. (Falcão had one KO, Terry had a deuce)

 

The match lasted only two minutes, I'm sure it'll be up on YouTube in entirety before this broadcast is even over. :good

 

Round 4

Shabranskyy is jabbing into the hairline of Peña and hooking into his right temple. Peña is tiring, lowering his guard, taking quick up-jabs bang on the nose, causing his neck to whiplash. Peña to his credit is taking his lumps and still tanking forward. Shabranskyy dominating easily with just the left jab and some minimal but steady conveyance, always sure of his footing, the consummate ring general.

Round 5

Shabranskyy is hurting Peña and keeping him in a shell with the jab and occasional hard right cross. Peña is caught with long right uppercuts on the lats and on the belt (which is hoisted up too high, several inches above the crotch) as he keeps his guard up. Peña is taking cautious steps away from Shabranskyy, but not running outright, poised and ready to counter with an overhand right but not launching it. Peña tosses a few jabs from the high tight guard to cover his retreat, but Shabranskyy is bearing down on him, reducing the gaps between his facial jabs and body uppercuts.
