Vargas lands a 1-2 but eats a well-timed overhand right from a patiently waiting & scouting Tomlinson. Vargas is chasing with the jab, landing about half on Tomlinson's already sliced-up face and half whistling past his skull or a couple of inches above his lusciously flowing coiffure - which jumps when Vargas lands. Tomlinson is standing in, eager to swap blows with Vargas, firing jab for jab and uppercut for uppercut, landing a great deal less but spirited.

Round 7

Vargas is landing the jab and belting Tomlinson across the dome with his right hand from on high. Vargas is scoring uppercuts and hurting Tomlinson. A bit of counter uppercut & shoeshine fire by Tomlinson grinding in close, but he ultimately relents and is sent reeling by one more heavy Vargas chopping right. Vargas moves in for the kill but Tomlinson keeps his feet and hit back. Another 1-2 by Vargas and Tomlinson sinks into the ropes, nearly going down - but upright once more!!
