I'll concede that Ruiz was technically better. This would not have been a very enthralling fight I suspect.
Ruiz on points in a sloppy frustrating type of fight to watch. I'll be pulling for the White Buffalo, but he wasn't a good boxer. Ruiz was a decent jab and grab guy, so he takes it.

Ruiz was a 12 round fighter and Botha struggled to finish championship level fights. That’s the big difference.
Not a fan of either but I go with Ruiz. He clutches and grabs his way to a UD or late stoppage. He has a better resume than Botha.
