Itauma by KO. Botha didn't have a great defence and his chin was far, far worse than big Croatian's

Botha by late stoppage or close UD. It would look similar to the Hrgovic fight but with Botha frustrating itauma even more with the clinching. Botha has went the distance with bigger punchers

Would be a great fight, Botha was as tough as nails. Would be a 50/50 fight for me.

If Botha doesn't get blown out in a couple of rounds he's a nightmare matchup for Itauma with his weird herky jerky style and timing, clinching/smothering ability to slow the fight down(or turn up when needed)

I agree. It took Michael Moorer 12 rounds to break him down. Botha in that fight could beat Itauma.

    Itauma's not on Moorer's level.

Yeah it's either Itauma in 5 or Botha SD/MD or stoppage. Botha gets pretty underrated on here. He's basically John Ruiz with actual skill. There's no shame in being stopped by a still solid 99 Tyson and he was winning that fight clearly before losing focus. Which is understandable considering Tyson was constantly trying to break his arms. a fair and honest ref would have DQ'd Tyson on the spot for that. Lewis and Klitschko are two of the greatest heavyweights of all time, Moorer also very good stopped him late in a very competitive fight. He should have wins over Briggs and Etienne as well. Those draws were bogus. Etienne was dropped twice and the fight was in his back yard. Enough said.

Nahh Moorer had NASTY power. Especially with his jab. Agreed itauma is no Moorer. Sure his chin wasn’t exactly iron but he was extremely dangerous. If memory serves me correctly… Moorer was actually a righty turned southpaw. Which explains the power jab.

The Wladimir KO of Botha is very underrated imo. That last left hook would’ve shut off 99% of HW’s. lol

Tough call...I don't see Botha standing up to the kind of shots that Hrgovic ate.

Would he have to though? He's a bit more slick than Hrgovic and could take a decision... but my gut still says Itauma by KO.

Don't be like that—before the fight with Hrgovic, you were singing Itauma's praises, and now suddenly he's on the same level as Botha?

Tyson should have got dq'd vs Botha. Ironic given it was his first fight back from being dq'd
