Frank Bruno: Destroyer of champions......

..... if you beat him!

Let's have a closer look:

The first boxer that beat him was Crusher. What happened to him in his very next fight? He found his first stoppage lost at the hands of Holmes.

Tim Witherspoon also beat Frank after some rough moments. Witherspoon not only took his first stoppage loss in the next fight, he was knocked out in the first round !

Then Bruno goes on to ruin Tyson. Tyson was the unstoppable force, 35-0-0 (31) and despite Bruno being battered, Tyson lost a part of him in the ring that night, which became clearly evident when the over-matched 44 to 1 underdog Buster Douglas dominated Tyson in his very next fight! Tyson would've never lost to Douglas in a Brunoless Universe.


After that he fights olympic champion Lennox Lewis, tricked Lewis into beating him and again, Lewis finds himself stopped by a big underdog Oliver McCall. See Tyson vs Douglas.

Because Lewis was really beaten by Bruno and not by McCall, Bruno was giving a shot at McCall's new belt and voila; shortly after the Bruno fight, McCall ended up crying in the ring because he had deja-vu's of the nightmare that was his fight with Frank Bruno.

This is all coincidence!, i hear you think. But again, let's look at Bruno's next fight.
Tyson had to take a 3-year layoff to overcome Bruno's first beating and now he was back to exorcise his demons. Bruno made short work of it this time and in such a manner, that again, Tyson would lose to a 22 to 1 underdog in his very next fight!


The evidence is overwhelming and there's only one possible conclusion; Frank Bruno was a baaad man!
