Frank Bruno nearly fought Maskaev in 1995!!!!

    This is one for the true boxing nostalgiacs

    I've been reading through my boxingnews magazines and he was lined up as a tone up fight at only 5-0, it didn't work out as maskaev was injured in training and frank bruno got a fight with mike evans.

    When i work out how to get my scanner working i will post on this site.

    i predict that bruno would have smashed his purley ass in 1 :bbb

    Yeah, and I think at 6-0 Maskaev fought Mccall. they tossed the guy to the wolves.

    Maskaev would have been KO'd. Earlier in his career, he was poorly managed.

    Would've been a heavy loss for Maskaev, he's had some dumbass managers in his time (I'm still not all that convinced about his current guy either but that's a different story...)
