I lived through the Bruno hype as a young adult.
Bruno was the most manufactured fighter of his time.
He was built up with poor quality opponents to steer him to the big one on several occasions.
His list of quality wins is almost non existent .
He had a great run in the spotlight, which far outweighed his talent.
He should keep his mouth shut .

He had potential and a lot of strength, but he didn't really amount to much other than good losing efforts, but gets the benefit of the doubt over other guys who did the same.
You do have a good point about his quality wins, too. The only named fighters he beat were:
    Scott LeDoux
    Floyd Cummings
    Larry Frazier
    Gerrie Coetzee
    James Tillis
    Joe Bugner
    Jose Ribalta
    Pierre Coetzer
    Carl Williams
    Jesse Ferguson
    Oliver McCall
And every single one of these wins come with asterisks.

Tyson Fury despite his size and accomplishments has some glaring vulnerabilities. But which 1980’s heavies and how many could take advantage of them ? I don’t know.

100% agree. There is some merit to his comment (some), but it seems obvious to me it’s hyperbolic & cynical jealousy driving this remark, not a serious evaluation of Fury in the 1980’s & ’90’s.
