The best versions of each. Britain's loveable hype job national hero versus Denmark's equivalent. Muscleman versus Fat Boy. 12 rounds.
Maybe someone can shoot a screen of Classics Page 1 and 2 and send it to Mr. Bruno, let the man see how incredible polular he´s on one of the biggest boxing platforms out there ?
I would be surprised, if someone hasn't already said something like: "Hey, Frank - you ought to take a look at this!".
I’m rooting for big Frank. But the fight is a 50-50. I have full respect for both guys actually. Not world beaters but Brave to the end.
Bruno was the heavier hitter but Nielsen maybe took a punch a bit better. Having said that Nielsen ran out of gas Bruno-style against the ordinary D!cky Ryan. I think Bruno at his best might grind out a stoppage in 9 or 10 rounds against Nielsen, a tough fight, but he'd get Brian out of there just in time before he runs out of gas himself.
Bruno pretty easily! Despite his physical appearance, the Dane had a good engine, and a very sound chin - but not a punch that would worry Bruno. Frank's ramrod left jab would likely bust up Brian's face, forcing a stoppage in around 5 or 6 rounds.
It’s a fair fight. This is a actually exactly the kind of guy Bruno should be matched against. This is exactly who he should be compared to.
Bruno by ko We've finally found someone Bruno can beat Bruno was no ball of fire but at least he fought some really good fighters in their prime. And he was competitive with Witherspoon and Lewis and beating Bonecrusher before being stopped by each. I'll take that over Nielsen building up an inflated record beating washed up big names and losing to washed up Tyson.
And lost each time. That’s probably the only difference. When Bruno lost the other guy was in his prime. yeah he lost to washed up Tyson..who probably still could beat anyone who wasn’t called Lennox Lewis or Holyfield at that time. But that’s the trouble with protected fighters. Even when they lose, they lose to the guy who beats everyone else. So they kind of get away with the judgement of having to beat live guys beforehand. It’s still hard to tell. They were both brave losers together. They both should have had more 50-50 fights.
