Carnera was WAY better than Bruno. One was undisputed HW champion of the world, the other a belt holder.
If Bruno doesn't get Carnera outta there inside 4 or 5 rounds Primo stops him late in a clumsy barrage
I will make another observation. Carnera beat men who have been forgotten today, who were better than most of the men that Bruno of Valuev beat. A win over a fighter who was not ranked in the top ten, loses its luster very decidedly, as the decades pass by. I would hate to have the job of defending Bruno's resume, or Valuev's, if they had fought in the 30s. I wouldn't even know where to start quite frankly!
Carl Williams would have boxed Carnera`s ears off, McCall would have stopped Carnera in a couple of rounds.
This. I like Bruno's technical jab and his power but the other two bring so much weight to the argument. Then again, neither of the two giants are particularly fast. On the other other hand, Bruno could gas in fights and if he does it's going to be bad against the two behemoths. I think Valuev > Bruno > Carnera but there's probably not a huge amount in it.
Williams had a longer jab than anybody Carnera faced, he would have jabbed his head off, and McCall was on a total other level to Carnera, more powerful and robust, no comparison.
