Wow! You're funny. So brave to make that comment about an ATG fighter from behind a keyboard. Who do you want to make fun of next? ALI, Quarry, Norton? Plenty of guys ended up broken when they retired. The fact remains, nobody in 83 pro fights or countless gym wars ever battered James Toney.

Not talking about the post Achilles injury James Toney. We are talking about the 219 pound version that just beat Holyfied and was coming off of the Jirov win.

Toney fought the Ghost of Holyfield......

Bruno would not gas against small low punch out put pillow fist Toney trying to counter sitting in the pocket plus Bruno could really crack, had a numbing jab and immensely physically strong in the clinch and was no enemy of fighting dirty.

Bruno is levels above that unskilled caveman Peter whose only claim to fame is giving glass chinned WK a hard night

In reality, Toney would never step into the Ring with prime Bruno.....he never faced a prime fighter at his run at Heavy, Peter was is and always will be a scrub....Huggybear Ruiz was one of the worst beltholders in Heavyweight History and poor Toney could not even keep that srap beause of Roids...and still Toney hit the deck from a slow azz telegraphed jab.....he would be seeing stars against Bruno.

Toney was legit at lower weights but at Heavy he sucked.

They'd probably need a trilogy honestly. Both guys had a roller coaster career at heavy with several ups and downs. It also depends on if Toney is motivated and in shape, if Bruno bothers to use his powerful jab and lets his hands go, etc. Toney had a granite chin but lacked motivation sometimes while Bruno could be rocked easily with a clean hea t shot but gave it his best and was always in shape. One fight wouldn't be enough with all these x factors.
