Frank Bruno v Superman

I liked the heart he showed and his power. His fights with Lewis and Pierre Coetzer were pretty good. I haven’t seen his match with jumbo Cummings but heard it was a war. Not sure if it’s available

 

I know I stopped by a 7 11 and bought it on Sept 1 1978.

 

Yeah, I was on my way to pick up my date before I was married, stopped by for a pack of Freshen Up Spearmint Gum, and I bought it. My date enjoyed it too, I was 19 years old at the time.

 

Like @Richard M Murrieta, I bought a copy of Ali vs. Superman off the rack.

As for the fight, Batman beat Superman straight up in The Dark Knight Returns, but Frank Bruno ain’t no Batman.

Clark “Superman” Kent (aka The Smallville Flash, aka Kid Krypton) KO 9 Frank Bruno if it’s in the UK, earlier if they fight in Metropolis Square Garden.

 

Well in that case with size being so close quite a few are going to agonize over the result. It could come down to shinier muscles.

 

Oh yeah, the Cummings fight was terrific. I confess that I often forget that fight and how good Bruno looked. Idk what happened to him after that.

No, I really love posting on fights, and I have enjoyed the break, but my boxing chronology got thrown out of order just cuz of one fight (for 1951), so I'm saving the rest of my notes for 1951 fights until I've finished up with that year, then I will post on it, and then continue normally.

 

Depends on the clauses put in the contract. If Bruno can have the gloves laced with Kryptonite then he might be able to make it to 2 seconds.
