How would a peak Bruno do against the 1973/74 and the 1991/92 incarnations of Big George ? He would last about 5 rounds with the young one, maybe stunning George himself,at some point. Foreman would be too explosive for Frank though. With the elder George,it could start off with Frank building up a points lead with his jab and stiff right scoring heavily, but George would still be there later on,when Bruno gasses out. Old George by tko, round about the tenth stanza.

Frank could punch, but I cannot see Frank last long with either George. His chin was not that great.

Bruno would have been a ko victimof either George...especially young George..a brutal ko loss would happen vs young George.

I can see Bruno perhaps beating an old George, if Schulz and Morrison could then Bruno probably could too

True, I might be able to see Frank stealing a decision in similar fashion to the way he beat McCall.

Bruno would have more success against young George than people think. He still gets stopped but he has some tools that would give him problems.

The Foreman that fought Holyfield beats Bruno but any version after and Frank stands a good chance. Betting on Bruno would never have been a smart move though.

I would pick Foreman with confidence, however I agree that Bruno could give him some problems.
For instance if he landed the huge bomb that rocked Tyson in '89 then Foreman would be dropped, since I reckon Bruno hits harder than Lyle who floored him twice.
However, even if that did happen, Foreman would get back up & brutally close the show sooner rather than later.

    Agreed.
