I feel AJ is an brilliant offensive fighter who would have destroyed a prime Bruno! Someone just wrote that Bruno had a better jab! In what way? AJ knows what he`s doing with the jab and uses it to set up his combo`s Bruno just jabbed by itself occasionally following up with a right but his 1-2 wasn`t as effective as AJ`s because the 2 didn`t follow the 1 as quick as AJ`s.

Aj would stop bruno first 3 rounds max. Once bruno gets hit clean he's a statue waiting to be unloaded on.

Bruno used his jab much more than Aj who hasn't really needed except vs wlad, utilized great that night.

AJ KO's Bruno without a doubt. People forget how slow did Bruno look even in his prime. AJ is quicker, has better chin, more fluid, and 3'' taller, with better stamina, too.

Barring a lucky right hand, mid round KO Joshua. Bruno does have the superior jab, as he had with pre Manny Lewis. Same result though.

Joshua would beat Bruno imo, he is a monster offensively, his brute force and heavy handed combination punching
is extremely overwhelming especially in the first 6 rounds, he has some flaws and is definitely not unbeatable but it needs exceptional defensive skills and durability to beat him.

Frank Bruno wouldn't have the stamina or chin to do what it takes to beat him. Very bad matchup for Bruno.

I think Joshua would win by knockout within the first 6 rounds.

A lot of people underestimating Bruno and overestimating Joshua in my humble opinion.

Tyson coming off his blitzing of the previously unbeaten Spinks (some say that was around Tysons prime) was taken 5 rounds by Bruno. This was savage, quick, vicious punching Mike Tyson. It was rather one sided to be honest but Bruno took some savage shots, stayed upright and was stopped on his feet.

Lennox Lewis had beaten Ruddock in 2 rounds a year before (the same Ruddock Tyson battled with and went 7 rounds and then 12) and Lewis had just beaten Tony Tucker.. Bruno dragged Lewis 7 rounds and gave a very solid account of himself. Again stopped on his feet.

Bruno was underrated in my opinion and still is, don't misunderstand me he wasn't amazing or some world beater but he could hold his own to an extent with the best of them on his day and was only beaten by world champion or future world champions.

To suggest Joshua blows a "prime" Bruno away quickly is just so dismissive, let's not forget Joshua was dragged 7 rounds by Whyte who was slaughtered over the weekend, 7 by Breazeale who is bang average at best, 11 by the chinless Klitschko, 10 by Takam.

I'm not seeing a Joshua victory inside the first half against a "prime" Bruno.

I think Bruno would have his moments, he had a decent jab and could keep AJ busy for a couple rounds. It would be interesting to see how AJ handles Pulev's jab, that would give us a decent idea how Bruno would fare although I rate Bruno a full class better than Pulev.

Tyson taking 5 to stop Bruno has nothing at all to do with a match vs Aj. Too many huge differences fit that fight to matter. Bruno stunning tyson in round 1 slowed his roll too.. Tyson couldn't land his much less powerful shots I'd a totally different type of fight. Tyson had to work his way in or he couldn't land.

Lewis, for the most part fought smart, especially such a must win vs Bruno. Lewis was caught too, fought back and ended it 2 Rounds after he went for the ko. Aj would land hits left right, massive left hook combo. That combo lands on straight up fighters with ease. That's also his go to combo. The right or coming back left hook lands and it's a matter of time to finish him. Bruno couldn't shake off big shots, nor could he regroup and come back with different strategy.

I'm going to assume Aj would be able to land, and land early. That's death for Bruno. Forget his chin and true stamina issues. He didn't get zapped from being hurt, he would fade noticably early and drastic. I thought I was being generous with round, claiming 3 instead of 2 which is the most Likely.

Aj comes out round 2 and tests hid opponents, round 1 check reaction and see their reach, where there open and what they're open too. Round 2 would be the beginning of the end. Couple 123= left jab or half jab half hook, full over hand right and big comeback left hook.

Once in, opponents realize his hands are much quicker than expected and his legs are active. He can move quick and with very little effort. Aj isn't one who should be asked for a winner hook or any Bruno level fighters. The question not being rhetorical and fully expected as rhetorical, I'd everyone's watching

Bruno always had a shakey chin once he got cracked with a clean shot, but I think he can drag it out to round 6-7 before AJ puts him away if he fights smart.
