The Bruno that fought Tyson the first time vs. the Arreola that fought Vitali: Weights Bruno - 228 Arreola -251 Ages Bruno - 27 Arreola -28 Who gets it?
I am going for Frank Bruno cause he kept in shape and was not a fat slob - Bruno was a minor face in a strong HW divison while Arreola is a condender in a weak divison.
bruno may have a stamina problem but his jab would be a ramrod in the face of arreola and very possibly a punch arreola could not get passed coupled with bruno's heavy right hand i think this combonation will keep arreola at distance and bust up arreola's face, for bruno to win by a stoppage at some some point after the 8th ,it may even be a corner retirement
Damn tough call. I haven't voted so i guess it's 50/50. Bruno had awesome power, i believe he had the punch to stop Arreola if the circumstance presented itself. Especially with Arreola's walk straight a head toe to toe fighting style, he could be a easy target for Bruno. On the other hand, Bruno had problems with tough pressure fighters, with high workrates. Frank also had the weakness of a slightly suspect chin, and some stamina issues, as his fights went on . I'm really not sure on this matchup, it could go either way....
Who on earth would make a dream match involving chris arreola? The only thing he should be associated to boxing with is a george foreman grill, and he should definitely learn to ****ing use it. Then again bruno could "knock the fat out"
Bruno, No doubt in my mind at all. He was a massive puncher, not to say that Arreola cant punch but I think Bruno was better all round and would get rid of Arreola within 9 rounds
Showtime broadcast the Arreola/Malcom Tann fight from 2007 a couple of days ago. Chris was 235 pounds for that one and looked like a different guy. I'd give that version a better chance of beating Bruno than the version who got beat up by VK.
Bruno was a big hitter but had no punch resistance whatsoever. Starting throwing like a ten year old in a playground once he got hit. Much as id like to say frank have to go with arreola
