He's probably the biggest Louis hater here. He doesn't even have Louis in the top 5 and picks him to lose to men like Morrison, Patterson, and even Shavers. Guy's a clown.

 

We at Classic have made it Frank Bruno month.

 

Patterson beat Louis. Please my side hurts laughing. Shavers power slightly, ever so slightly overrated. Morrison had a good left hook but that’s it. Louis not even in top five, Ali, Holmes, Lewis, **** I’ve run out of ideas. Who the hell are the other two?

 

Will have to look it up. I forgot myself.

 

Here I have to call mismatch. I think Frank Bruno had the type of style which would be tailor made for Louis and result in an early TKO win for the bomber. Frank was too stiff and mechanical to have any defense against those fast accurate combinations

 

Foreman and Wlad, he also ranks above Louis.

He actually used to have Louis in the top 3, but dropped him out because of the Baer fight

 

The bodybuilders whom box on occasion like bruno and nearly the fighters since the nineties, have just too many big and beautiful muskles for the puny likes of a joe Louis; but some of the posters here sure do appreciate all those muskles.

 

What if I said Frank Bruno lands a Huge right hand and flattens Louis or Patterson. Would you laugh at me or say **** I wish i hadn’t of gone to the bookies and had Louis or Patterson? I love these discussions. But how many people would actually put money on the GREATS. Imagine Michael Spinks outpointing Marciano. I can.
