Bruno's bout after the near disaster against Cummings was a lateral step, against tricky American fighter Walter Santemore, who at the time had compiled a record of 19-13 and was 35 years old. Bruno was 22 and undefeated. Walter would fight on for another five years, picking up 9 consecutive defeats without a win after this bout.

Who's the best heavyweight you reckon Frank would match up well against to beat?

He was matched against Trevor Berbick in 1987 but Berbick, who was just past his best, suffered an injury and that was that. I think Bruno beats Berbick in '87 in a long, hard fight.
