Nobody dares to lock eyes with Fury, let alone stare him down, thats why to this day......Fury is still looking in the mirror

Did you not see the fight where Fury tested Furys chin with an uppercut? Fury barely flinched, thats a sign of a granite chin, especially as he took a punch from a big puncher like Fury.

 

Yeah it wasn't a bad fight, but I lost a lot of respect for Fury. I jumped out of my chair and hooted when Steve decked him in the second. Especially after Fury had taunted him by pushing steve and pounding his chest. Lots of holding and hitting, shoving and things that were unsportstman like, but still an entertaining fight.

 

Surely, he didn't lean on Cunningham in the clinch? if that were the case Dino would have to rule this a DQ win for USS!

How could I forgot about that, I believe that caused a Tsunami and several large scale earthquakes. Fury vs Fury would likely go the distance as the world crumbled into a blackhole created from such a paradox of power meeting resistance.

 

You do know that Fury is Dino's #1 HW in the World. He passed Povetkin, when Povetkin beat Wlad by DQ. That's how much Wlad sucks, beating him will see you fall in the DINO rankings.

The irresistable force vs the immovable object

the last time this occurred was Holyfield vs Valuev......the day the world stood still.

 

My kid was sick the night that Steve fought Monseur a few weeks ago, but Tommy the hat who posts here periodically sent me a message on facebook telling me that I missed a great fight. Steve is a tough guy with a hard work ethic and long military service history.. He's probably one of the better personalities in boxing.

 

Very brutal but dramatic fight, did not look good for Cunningham but he somehow pulled it off. Very gutsy performance. All these NBC HW fights are pretty damn good.

 

Personally I have always found better fights among the lower ranked or obscure fighters, than with the elite. I'd rather watch two lesser men go out there and ACTUALLY fight than to watch a tactical display between to world class guys. Growing up, the best fights were always on ESPEN, USA, ABC wild world of sports and Telemundo.. Not HBO, PPV or showtime.

 

Steve went to work with Fury for Haye and had great things to say about him as a person and as a boxer.
He said that way he was performing in sparring was going to be too much for Haye and also commented on why he didn't know why he never performed to that level when they fought.

He wouldn't of just said that about Fury cos he was pissed with him before hand so he had to of impressed him.

Reguarding the clinch ahainst USS , Fury was breaking clinch himself to let go combos and he never took a step backward.

Wlad was afriad to let his hands go against pudding fisted Byrd ffs.

 

Same here, id rather watch a low budget cheesy movie than watch one of these new 'blockbusters' with a budget of millions.
