Last time it would have remotely interesting was when he almost came out of retirement to face A-farce. He was old and far past it even then......
Judging by his six pack which bulges out farther than a beer belly Id say he better make sure wherever he tries to get licenses doesn't have steroids testing.
Obviously I don't want to see him in with Anthony Joshua but put him in with a few cans and let him earn a little.
People should replay in front of him his second fight vs Tyson, where he looked petrified by fear. Then ask him why he would like more of the same ?
Im actually happy hes coming back. Bruno vs Audley! Someone mentioned Ike earlier, why not Ike vs Tua 2?
Ruddock just got knocked out by a guy who wouldn't have lasted a round with him 25 years ago. A testimony to what happens when aged former athletes try to fool themselves
Dear old Frank did retire with a few miles left on the clock physically but he had bad eyes and had achieved what he wanted to do with money and his career so it was time to stop. He had been fortunate. His life has changed since then. His career was something he could control but life was not. Some people need to focus on what they have got not on what they want. Sometimes focusing on what you want is a hard cycle to break. men who workout can cheat themselves that because life can lose its direction a comeback will present the required challenge to get things back on track. It can't. If mediocrity is something a champion could ever settle for it would not be a bad thing but unfortunately the kind of personality trait that often creates a high achiever is not the kind of person who could ever be satisfied with more realistic goals. A realistic goal cannot sustain them. If boxing was not a young man's pursuit then a return to one's former profession would never be a bad thing for anybody else. It's a pity more former boxers cannot embrace other goals within the sport without taking part in the actual boxing. But that's just not how it is.
Let him fight if he can pass all of the tests any other fighter would have to pass in order to get licensed. He's old, it's not like he's pushing for a fight vs. Joshua, Haye, Fury, or Wilder. He's just trying to make a living doing what he knows how to do. Let him beat up some bums.
:rofl wondered when someone might say something like that atsch I know he seemed to have some links with a seriously murky character up in Liverpool - he was apparently wandering aimlessly around some Liverpool estate asking for this guy when he had one of his more recent 'turns'? This character was seriously bad news begs the question what he was doing mixing with the guy? Definitely had me wondering coupled with his association with that freak So-Vile
