For me, Mikey beat a Bruno who was at his lowest point, or certainly well on the way there. You could see it on the ring walk. If McCall had a nervous breakdown in the ring V Lewis, Bruno had had his not long before the Tyson fight. Genuinely think the Bruno who lost to Tyson in their first fight beats the one who beat him in their second. Frank had a lot of demons by that point and his subsequent mental health problems are well documented.
1. Holyfied 2.Lewis 3. Bowe 4. Tyson 5. Moorer 6. Douglas 7. Mercer 8. Vitali 9. Foreman 10. Hide 11.Morrison 12. McCall 13. Bent 14. Bruno 15. Akinwande 16. Seldon
People need to watch Seldon's fight with Tucker. He was easily better than Bentt, would probably beat Foreman, and would give Moorer a run for his money.
I would put Bruno in front of Morrison and a dead heat Moorer. I thunk Frank has a good chance of sparking them both out
I watched it a few months ago here's my thoughts on it. Bruce Seldon vs Tony Tucker 1 Seldon 2 Tucker 3 Tucker 4 Seldon 5 Seldon 6 Tucker 7 Seldon 8 Doctor stops the fight inbetween rounds. 67-66 Seldon Underrated fight this one i've never heard anyone talk about it but it was a pretty good dust up. Seldon showed a great jab in this fight i think his jab is up there with one of the better Heavyweight jabs i've seen. Tucker was obviously past his best and Seldon out speed him and out jabbed him closing his eye completely which lead to the stoppage. But credit to Tucker he did make a fight of it and actually won some rounds and had Seldon in trouble in atleast 2 rounds when he stunned him with right hands. It's unfortunate the fight had to end the way it did but Tucker's eye was completely shut and swollen badly so i can't fault the stoppage TBH. It would've been interesting had the original fight gone through which was supposed to be Foreman/Tucker i do wonder how that would've gone. But all in all not a bad fight at all worth watching IMO.
Yeah, people look at their records and watch Seldon’s fight with Tyson and assume it’s a chinless bum against a shot never was. But if you actually watch it, it’s easy to see that Seldon was an athletic fighter with a great jab, plenty of heart, and a better than pathetic chin. Tucker was also game and could’ve won if his swollen eye hadn’t ruined it.
It was probably one of Tucker's most game performances against a notable opponent honestly. He abandoned his safety first approach and really tried to take Seldon out a few times. If Seldon had a better chin and more heart with his physical attributes he would've been a beast.
I actually think it was just chin with him. He reacted strangely to getting clipped by Bowe and Tyson and gassed out against McCall. He seemed to keep attempting to fight or rise from the canvas while totally finished in his losses.
