I'm actually rather impressed with Hurd thus far.

Adrien Broner's eyes must be turning green if watching this.

Hurd is proving to be every bit the successor to James Toney & Floyd Mayweather Jr. as "most comfortable fighting off the ropes" that Broner wishes he was.

    Round 4

Galarza is walking into jabs and lead rights. Galarza is forced to bend forward as Hurd lays combinations on him, standing upright & boxing tall, loose and fluid, well-poised. Galarza leans directly into a BIG UPPERCUT and goes down. Half a minute left. Hurd goes a bit haywire, chopping with his right as Galarza backs into the ropes and shells up.

    10-8 Hurd

    39-36 Hurd

I will say Hurt has impressed me in the last couple rounds, landing some really decent counters, perhaps I've been too harsh.

    So is Hurd with TMT?

Mayweather Promotions is the co-promoter tonight along with small-fry outfit Tom Brown. I'm not sure whom either has on the card.

    Round 5

Galarza is backing straight away from the jab and ducking with his gloves dropping just enough to get hit with the right cross. Galarza is giving Hurd everything he wants and rolling out the red carpet for him. Galarza approaches haplessly, frozen stiff when Hurd starts punching no matter where his arms were positioned beforehand.

    10-9 Hurd

    49-45 Hurd
