It's bull**** and you are a plank. He did say he would move up to LH to face pascal but the point is he is tied into a contract with bute. How can he fight cleverly at LH when if on the off chance cleverly won that would mean bute either has to move up or cleverly has to move down. That's one reason frank offered the fight, because he knows it can't be made. The other reason is that froch is with sky now and won't be allowed to fight on box nation, which frank also knows. If you can't see that then there is something wrong with you. I believe he made the offer to carl because he knows the fight can't be made. I'm sure if bute turned down his rematch then carl would be more than happy to step up to LH and smash cleverly in. I don't believe any decent offer has been made to bellew but it says the offer is still open so maybe bellew can give them a call.
Would ****** agree to the fight being on Sky Sports rather than Boxnation? Answer is no. He would rather the fight be on a niche channel as opposed to mainstream. Any fight between ****** and other promoters is dead before it gets off the ground because of this.
"Both Nathan and I would love to make this fight and if Eddie is serious about paying Froch £2 million to fight Nathan and providing Nathan gets what he is worth, then there is no reason this fight cannot happen anytime soon." So F.W. says "yes" it seems. But of course, Hearn probably isn't paying out millions for a fight that he isn't even supposed to be interested in.
It looks like im on my own here, but i like the fight (Froch Cleverly) Forgetting what Frank has said in his letter, which we will never know is truth of not, this is classic younger fighter looking for the big fight vs older more accomplished champion who still has an awful lot to give, plus its a domestic world title fight Cleverly isnt the most popular man in British Boxing, well neither was Carl Froch when he was calling out Joe Calzaghe and his best scalp to date was Tony Dodson People have to progress, and Cleverly wants progression, thats obvious in the lads interviews He's staying with Frank, and the way is see it is that he's unhappy and frustrated in the current climate but he's staying with him, to that end, he can expect his big fight never to arrive, but the finger of blame must lie with Frank and his inability to deliver, not so much Nathan Cleverly, we've all seen what can happen to guys who get wrangled up in messy legal contractual affairs, i like Cleverly, i don't understand what the beef is with the kid, he's flawed yes, but aren't we all !!
It would be a lot more interesting that what they have lined up, but it can't likely happen because of the TV divide. End of story.
Well how can it be end of story if we do not know the complexities of the contract either man has with BN and SKY / Frank and Eddie respectively ??
Really. How is this possible when Froch has beaten much better fighters than Cleverley. Cleverly is irrelevant. Only fools will honestly think that Cleverley even has a remote chance against Froch.
Froch vs Cleverly is an awsome fight and certainly not as one sided as were lead to beleive. ****** is just pissed cos he has been shown up to be a mug infront of Cleverly. Hearn should offer Cleverly $1million to fight Carl at the City ground next summer.
What fight has given you the idea that Cleverly can hang with Froch at this stage? Going life and death with Karo Murat and Tony Bellew?
