    Nice variety by Martin, throwing uppercuts and short hooks to the body up close and sharp 1-2's from the outside.
    I think he gives ground a little too easy at times but I like what I've seen so far

    The only reason their connect percentages are in even the same ballpark is Martin throwing away right jabs in multiples to set up his real attacks.

    Martin firing in spurts as Pérez crowds him into the ropes and then pushing his way free with an outstretched right arm spearing into the solar plexus. A few hooks connecting obliquely for Pérez chasing Martin into the ropes and lunging down, but not enough. Too much slipperiness.
