October twenty-fifth, on the Fundora vs. Thurman undercard. Added today. It will be ten rounds in the light welterweight division.

Both men are coming off losses more than a year ago. The previously undefeated Martin was knocked out by Gervonta Davis in June of 2024, and two months earlier the the former IBF lightweight champion and Cuban amateur standout Barthelemy was soundly outpointed by José Ramírez at welterweight. This makes for a 16 month layoff for Martin, and 1½″ years for 39 year old Barthelemy.

It was in talks last month but it appears they pivoted.

Barboza has been calling out Jack Catterall for a rematch (which is weird, as it's usually the loser who does that following a close decision...guess he wants to erase all doubt)
