According to BoxRec, Dawson is fighting South African Virgil Kalakoda for the PABA title in December :good.
Good luck to Frank and hats off to him for taking on this opportunity, he is a good, honest boxer and I think he is better than his record suggests, so in response o boxon123, who clearly hasn't seen 'this guy' fight, I don't fear for his health, and nor would most people who post on here.
Mine was a legitimate question and I have an idea on the massive difference between Australian boxing and the world. Obviously you don't. Part of the Aussie Psyche is to overrate themselves. That is why Aussie boxing never seems to go forward.
Frank is probably the most under rated fighter in the country, He looked great in out working and beating up Daniel Dawson.
u obviously have ignored many mismatches that have taken place elsewhere in the world. yes frank appears out of his depth, but there have been much, much worse fighters given a shot at a title. that's the point i'm making. even in the lead up to pacman vs de la hoya, people were demanding that manny should not be allowed in with oscar as he will be seriously beaten, then the result was the exact opposite, lol. oscar was far too big and the authorities should not have allowed it to take place. and australian boxing does not go forward because there is only a handful in the whole country. u should know that.
Alvarez looked very ordinary last night. Wonder if LoPorto will be that much out of his depth against Trout? Certainly don't share the view that Trout poses LoPorto a health risk anyway.

Trout is 23-0 with 13 knockouts. The 26-year-old was born in El Paso and raised in Las Cruces, where he still lives. He defeated David Lopez last June in Mexico in his first title defense. This will be his second title defense. LoPorto, 33, is 15-4-2 with seven knockouts and has won nine of his last 10 fights. LoPorto is from Glenroy, Victoria, in Australia and has had all his fights in Australia with the exception of a pair in nearby New Zealand.
They are all good fighters and would kick you and me ass everyday of week. But you do have to question the level Trout is? If he fights Mundine is will be by far his toughest opponent, even this version of Mundine. Whereas on paper Trout is far from Mundine toughest opponent, Kessler, Ottke, Green, Geale and Echols (yes he was at the time boys) where all much tougher opponents on paper. Alverez has been Trouts toughest opponent so far: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=328611&cat=boxer Im not blowing up Mundine's chances. Just saying that Troutv aint no boy wonder so far. far from it.
Thats because he is probably getting 40k with rematch clause and at least one option. Cant compare them apples bro.
