Hearn says it's a horrendous offer with options..why would Frank even ask for options? Surely he has enough faith in Ricky to do a job on Rees, such a shame because it would be a decent fight, now Burns will probably defend against a TTG, then Franky will come out with 'We tried to get Gavin Rees, but they don't want it, we tried to get Floyd Mayweather, but he doesn't want it'

Hearn would never let one of his fighters fight on BoxNation anyway. Shame cos it would be an interesting fight.

    Hearn is the problem here.

Yep. Hearn won't have his fighters on BoxNation so these fights will never take place unless he wins purse bids and puts them on Sky.

Typical Frank. Offers a **** deal, gets it turned down, chooses an awful opponent instead and then cries "other opponents turn him down". No different to what happened with Cleverly.

    It's a joke.

Tbf I have sympathy with him in the Cleverly case but yeh this one is a waste of everyone's time.

Take the offer, take the fight, take the belt. Take on Broner in Vegas.

Why **** about? That's how it should roll.

Would be one worth watching aswell guys.

I'd have Burns on points but i suppose thats irrelevant.

How, realistically, does this fight get made then? If the promoters are in the way?

Rees should go to the champion. If this situation was reversed, Frank would be getting slaughtered.

Pretty sure if there was a legit offer made Hearn would let Rees take the fight.

Because if theres options in the deal it would prevent Rees doing this. He'd be fighting no marks in York Hall for the rest of his days.

The promotion of fighters in Britain is fundamentally flawed.
