With SKY supposedly dropping Frank Maloney and David Price,

I wonder if Maloney will try to do a deal with Premier Sports?? They really need more boxing and with David Price on offer it could work, they would get more subscribers and Maloney would have the chance to put more of his boxers on TV with more TV dates than he curently gets with SKY and is likely to get with channel 5 or Boxnation if he does a deal with them.

From the Premier Sports angle they could get more subscriptions for their channel. If that happens they could possibly afford other shows and promoters like maybe Dave Coldwell, and also maybe get an HD channel!!

It is just a thought or maybe just me wanting more boxing on TV!!!

Would this be viable?? I know it means another £6 a month but if i was getting boxing from Maloney , Dave Coldwell and maybe a couple of other smaller promoters I'd be interested.

    Thoughts??

fair enough ,but if the quality of the of tv show is as bad as the Hard Knock ones i would give it a miss, having the presenter doing the mc etc **** pooor.

I understand that but if they did it properly and only put on shows with credible bouts and certain guidelines on how the shows are to be run, I could see it work.

I'm sure it would give promoters like Paul Graham at Prospect boxing the chance to put themselves forward and give them a bit more cash to put on better shows.

I doubt Maloney or Hatton will get a TV deal any time soon.

Can't see them working with ****** especially Maloney, Channel 5 haven't made it clear they are interested in showing more boxing and do premier have the funds for it?

No more subscriptions, i don't mind paying for Sky and Boxnation but no chance am i paying for Premier as well.

Hopefully Maloney will just **** off and Matchroom will take his fighters.

I'd be happy to see Hatton on C5 or Boxnation.

C5 is their best bet, more viewers and a chance at making the Fury fight which would sell big.

Hennessy/Maloney sharing the C5 slot would be ideal but slim chance of that happening.

Maloney will retire soon, I don't think he's got the appetite for it anymore.

I hope not, with paying for Sky sports and Boxnation do we really want to have to pay for another channel to watch our beloved sport?
