Frank Maloney is a lying weasel

    Sorry if this has been posted, but the fight with Skelton was already supposedly made either before the Audley fight or straight after, apparently.

    His 500K offer to Fury is without a doubt, probably bull**** and while the weasel was saying that the Fury fight can be made next, he goes and gets Price-Skelton signed where he'll then probably come out saying we had already made the fight, so it's too late or some ****.

    I like Price just as much as anyone, but what's the point? He's asking for a bit of criticism here. These guys are just in-house with Maloney and they provide nothing for Price at all. He may be staying active, but there's a point where actively fighting against walk overs is just doing you more of an injustice than giving you experience or respect.

    If boxers like DeGale and Groves get slack for their fights, then Price rightly deserves some too because he's blistering past these guys who don't even provide anything for him.

    What do you think? Is Maloney the weasel who needs to be exterminated? :think

    A stay active fight. Will give Price another 90 seconds of activity under his belt. Expect him to be stepped up considerably in the new year.

    Laz , are you naive ? I mean everyone worth there salt knows that the fight between them wont be made anytime soon mate? Why ,cause of there tv contracts wont allow it unless one agrees to fight the other ... its all about getting headlines /exposure mate and that is why they would make that sort of statement post fight

    It is just possible that he is making Fury an offer, knowing it will come after the Skelton fight. The two can co-exist, you know.

    I doubt their TV contracts would be the major factor in this. Remember, Price is with BoxNation now, not Sky. I doubt it was intentionally for exposure. I just feel Maloney is a lying mug. Let's see if that 500K offer is real.

    He said a fight for December against Fury if he wants it. Then the Skelton fight was made literally straight after? More like Maloney is trying to make as much in-house money as possible.

    And it doesn't take away from the fact that his 500K offer is still a load of nonsense.

    isn't skelton mandatory? anyway, even if the offer is made, it won't be for december anyway as price v fury would take months to build to hype! this is just a defence to keep price active!

    If Fury steps up today and says "yes I'll take 500K on your terms now, make it happen" then I'd guess we'd have a fight.

    So I'm going to say no, it's not an outright lie.

    However, Frank knows it is unlikely and has rightly lined up a keep busy fight Price will win and look good in. He'll build his fanbase, get publicity and have another brutal KO win for his highlight reel.

    He's also stated he'd like the Lonsdale for keeps so expect another defence before he moves on ...

    Fury has a fight lined up against Chagaev so he probably knows the fight won't be made for December and hes keeping him busy.

    I'd rather he stays busy in okay fights than spend 6 months talking about fights that won't happen. Price wants the Lonsdale belt and there isn't really anyone to fight.
