Mir is scary because he is ****in' ******ed, he can be and look like atotal piece of **** twat in one fight and in his next look like a serious world beater. I call him "Mr. Inconsistent" because you never know which Mir is gonna show up. Is it possible he can beat Fedor? Certainly, do I think he will? Certainly.........not.
I agree and thats how it should be looked at. No intelligent fan canwatch these 2 guys fight and say there is no possible way Frank Mir could win. I also doubt he would but for people to believe he could not is just dumb.
Mir folds as soon as he faces any adversity, most overrated fighter of the past three years. Werdum was a legit BJJ champion, Mir's bjj is not as good and only looks impressive against limited fighters.
lol yeah, bjj expert Lesnar getting submitted in his second MMA fight, and he almost beat Mir up in under a minute before getting caught like the rookie that he was. Who is the best submission guy that Mir submitted? Tim Sylvia? Mir is living off beating a rookie, zombie Nog and Kongo.
Fedor would speed blitz Mir. He can't deal with any sort of pressure or adversity and is instinctively awful. He is like Lesnar but with a BJJ base instead of a wrestling base.
atsch Possibly the worst post in the history of this forum. Ever heard of Roberto Traven ? 2 time Jiujitsu World Champion and former Abu Dhabi winner that Mir armbared in 1 minute as a Purple Belt. Dont know the history of the sport or understand BJJ thats perfectly fine you dont have just dont act like a ****ing know it all when you dont know ****.
Mir has good stand up but you have to be really good to tame Fedors wild 2 fisted assault. I think Frank can stand with him but would suffer in a trade off. On the ground, when Frank locks something tight, its a wrap! Fedor is obviously the favourite but Frank could potentially lock a sub while Fedor is bombing away.
So he beat a guy who had a crap MMA career, and Mir got owned by big country in a grappling match. Mir is good at BJJ but he is not on the level of Werdum. Just because you invested so much of your fandom into cheering for an overrated fighter like Mir doesn't change the fact that he sucks. Guess what happens when Mir fights another top rated opponent, he is gonna get smashed. You can't deny how green Brock was in 2008 and how far gone Nog has been for the past 4 years, and in between all those wins Mir has been destroyed in humiliating fashion. As of right now Mir struggles to beat any top 10 fighter. He has run out of washed up Pride stars to beat up. Schuab would probably push his **** in.
So because it isnt as good as Werdum's that means he isnt that good as a Jiujitsu guy ? Thats almost like saying Kobe Bryant is only good because he isnt on the level of Michael Jordan. Who the **** said I was a Mir fan ? No you worthless **** I defend fighters when they get bashed by some ***** who sits behind his keyboard and just trashes guys who actually put it on the line. Meanwhile you live your life through guys like Mir because you dont have the balls to try anything yourself. Wow he lost to Big Country in a Grappling match well Nogueira got kneebared by Ricco so that must make his Jiujitsu ****ing terrible right ? Mir sucks ? Id love for you to show off the pics of yourself with a UFC Heavyweight Championship and a BJJ Blackbelt. Anytime pal.
lol, what a sensitive guy. Get off your high horse, cocksusker. What? I can't criticize fighters because they aren't any good? Mir is a product of the UFC hype machine and this thread is about if he can beat Fedor. Well he can't.....because he sucks, it's not rocket science. There is nothing more homoerotic then a MMA loving white knight forum poster. Spare me your outrage, I really don't give a ****.
Apparently you do care if you didnt you would not keep responding to me. Either way its obvious ive schooled your ass and proved you are an idiot so goodnight loser.
FFS anyone can beat anyone on any given night in MMA. Ok it is improbable but it's not IMPOSSIBLE. Who would have picked Serra to KO GSP, **** can happen and also Fedor is getting on a bit and is not the most sctive guy and his long unbeaten run has come to an end. Once that mistique is gone, even in the fighters own head, it can signal a bit of a downturn. If I had to bet my house of course I'd back Fedor but in MMA nothing is certain and Fedor is only a human being. Sometimes I really think people in this forum genuinly think otherwise. Mir has to be confident he can win, all fighters do, otherwise there's be no fights as ther'd be no point in just turning up for a predetermined beating.
