Those are only the fight purses, the UFC fighters are employees of the UFC, they get paid much more through other forms than fight purses; not to mention Mir most likely got a cut off the PPV sales.

Only fight purses get reported to the commision; all other pay only gets reported to the IRS. Since most fighters don't want their salaries out in the public, they get the majority of their money through other salary options with the UFC.

I read somewhere Lesnar made about 3 million for this fight ?

 

Didn't Mir also state this in one his interviews. That's getting much much less than Lesnar? If people want i'll see if I can find the interview

 

Mir was always going to get much much less Lesnar was the draw for all PPV

 

Lesnars the big name fighter and was champion so not a suprise

 

Fight fans, and many non fight fans know the name of Lesnar. Mir on the other hand, non fight fans don't know the name that well. Brock will be a money maker for the UFC as long as he fights. Unless he starts to get crushed in many of his next fights.

if they really paid Lesnar 3 million dollars, im sure Dana White would mention this next time when somebody said that UFC ripping of the fighters.
he just start talking lockerroom bonus, and other **** when somebody brings it up.
so fighters getting cut of ppv money are just rumors.

 

He showed a cash check from Randy for half mil just as a locker room bonus, fighters have came out and said they get cuts of PPV. Chuck, GSP, and Randy off the top of my head.
