Conventional wisdom says Hunt by early KO, but I've learned to not completely underestimate Mir. Just can't see Mir standing up to Hunts punches though. Hunt KO1 :deal
I remember stumbling up your channel a couple of years ago.... You said you have Mir here, but how? Decision, KO, Sub? :huh You said conditioning might be a factor, safe to say that if this goes the distance both guys will be pretty gassed late.
Agreed. Something is saying that Mir is either going to pull a Werdum and genuinely KO Hunt (Mir can bang, too) or will pull a super quick sub. I'd love Hunt to win (Love to see him fight Reem/Arlovski) but something is screaming Mir via KO, so that's what I'll pick! :good
Either that or his snatches a sub while half conscious and on the receiving end of Hunts sledgehammer fists. atsch
I got Mir by decision. He seems to have more left in the tank than Hunt at this point and his recent form has looked better.
True, Hunt should KO him with the first shot he lands. But Mir wins the fights he shouldn't and vice versa.
Pretty disputable... Hunt has had success across K-1 and MMA at the top level, sure Mir is a former UFC HW champ(in a really weak division) and MAYBE a better fighter in his prime, but better fighter overall? IDK about that.
Frank's the better MMA'er. Across the board it's Hunt, easily. Mark is in better form at the moment than Frank, but Frank is a multiple world champion in MMA, Hunt has never won a belt of note in MMA.
