Part of tomorrow's heavyweight quintuple-header courtesy of PBC on Fox PPV.

Ciocan is a late replacement for Carlos José Negrón Colón. Very late - as in 4 days' notice, considering which Ciocan is way better than I was expecting to be found!

Sánchez Faure is unproven enough and Ciocan/Hammer generally reliable for the odd upset enough that I don't think, even with the late notice factored in, we can say this one is too much of a sure thing. Probably a decision for the Cuban but if he got his zero snatched here my jaw wouldn't exactly be hitting the floor.

Sanchez round 7 TKO. He's pretty pillowfisted as far as i can tell, conservative with a punch output and fighting a different opponent on less than a weeks notice but he should still be landing enough to force a stoppage in the later rounds

Would not be suprised if it went the distance though

Don't know much about the opponent, and considering he is a late replacement, I'll go with Sanchez by late stoppage.

I think the miles are starting to pile up on Hammer's clock. He's not exactly old by HW standards, but it does seem like he's been around forever without really having any breakout successes.

He allegedly gave up in the Fury fight because he hurt his arm/shoulder. That was only about 2 months ago. Seems strange that he would take another fight so soon - let alone one on short notice. Kind of suggests that he was either lying about the arm/shoulder in the Fury fight or there's a real chance he gives up early in this one. Or both?

I think Sanchez was paying Ajagba's right hand considerable respect in their fight. Hammer is a skillful guy but I don't think he needs to pay Hammer the same level of respect here.
