After he puts Cung Le away, who would you like to see him fight? What top level fighters in his weight division do you think he can beat at this point in his career?
I dont think it really matters. Frank has been flirting with MMA for far far too long. He could have been a serious legend in the sport and had a glorious career. But he spent more time bitching about other fighters and wasting his time trying to make it in hollywood.
I think Lawler would be good. But I've heard Frank interviewed, I've heard Ken interviewed, and a Strikeforce guy interviewed, and they are all dead set on making a Ken-Frank fight.
NO THEY AREN'T GAHHHHH!!!! LOL, sorry, I know it is confusing because they once put on a card together, but Frank Shamrock and Cung Le are in Strikeforce. Lawler and Baroni are in EliteXC. They have worked together that one time, but it's tough to say if they will again.
They're working together on the next card. And I'm not sure, but technically I think Lawler and Baroni are in ICON, as Baroni will be fighting for Lawler's vacated ICON belt, but Lawler keeps his EliteXC belt.
I think the MMA world is getting a little dilluded with all the orgs, there is only so many good fighters to go around.
Lawler is a great mention, I'd really like to see that fight. Who do you think wins between Lawler and Shamrock? I'll have to think it over, Frank has as many skills as you're going to get in the current version of the sport, but his age has made him vulnerable to certain things. Didn't like how Baroni was able to tag him easy on occassion and really didn't like how Gracie was able to take him down so easy.
