Frank - "Sky said no to Crolla/Flanagan 50/50"

I'm pro Warrren but Frank knew the fight wouldn't be agreed - especially using IFL to make his offer and saying he was going over Hearns head to straight to big Barney Francis. Why not send Andy Ayling and Steve Wood on his behalf to try to cut with Hearn in the first stage of a possible negotiation.

Fair shout. I think this will eventually happen but on Hearn's terms- why would Frank want to take on the risk of a marginal PPV anyway?

 

I am not surprised. I don't even think Crolla should take 50/50.

His A side and deserves the bigger split.

FW thinks he still has some sort of say with Sky Tv but that ship sailed a long time ago.

FW has no leverage and sky don't care about him or his fighters. They don't need FW. FW is hoping desperately that sky get upset with Hearn and matchroom and go back to him but it's not going to happen. Matchroom have a long term exclusive contract for a reason.

Crolla is becoming star and doesn't need Flanaghan.

Flanagan is a nobody. 50/50 isn't remotely fair.

 

Then Sky don't care about their paying fans either. Neither of these two are big enough draws to start throwing the A side rhetoric. Hearn/Sky will be happy to have Crolla fight easier fights and as boxing fans we should be demanding more of them. Especially with a domestic fight like this
