Tate had the much better amauter pedigree. Joppy was blessed with great hand speed and had a lot of heart but I like Tate in this one by UD.

On a side note, I met Joppy when he was in St Louis on the Spinks vs Karmazin undercard. Super nice guy that was very humble and took time out to sign autographs and chat with the fans. He fought a guy named Jonathon Corn and pretty much dominated him as expected. I had really good seats and remember his hand speed and combination punching was really impressive.
