Frank Warren Appreciation Thread

Anyone think Khan will come back to Warren? Maybe not happy with Golden Boy and would rather fight here for his fans? And now Warrens looking at competitive fights it's convinced Amir to come back?

Strange he was there, seeing as they split on bad terms.

 

Warren's the man. I often wish British boxing had more of him. As much as some people dislike him, we'd be absolutely ****ed in this country as fight fans without him. Keep it up, Frank:thumbsup.

 

I'd be wondering this. I was hoping Khan-Maidana would go to purse bids, I had a feeling he might have made a bid :yep for his anniversary show.

 

He doesn't yet have one 'star' but he has many quality match ups to make.

I think we're far more likely to see Chisora-Fury than Chisora-Valuev though.

I'd prefer for Chisora to step out of domestic class. Nothing too big yet, but something that will drag even more out of him and push him just a bit harder. I can't quite put my finger on a possible opponent though, maybe someone like Rahman, or Tony Thompson.

 

Agreed, thankyou Frank Warren for giving us value for money, it doesn't happen much in boxing.

I hate to say it but I agree. Warren has got it right recently, losing some of his bigger names has been good for the fans.

 

Frank was never a supporter of Friday Fight Night. Now Sky are back on board for Saturdays I think his stable will be more active outside the big mega show

 

Look at all you fickle ****ers, 365 days a year slating 'Fwank' now riding his **** :deal I've always said he's the best promoter in Britain, and regardless of his match making, he gives his boxers a good deal, and puts on the best shows, for the most part. :good

 

I said all along that I wouldn't part with £15 after Barker and Rhodes pulled out but I caved in at the last minute. Very glad I did now, well done Frank :happy
